Founded in 2007 in the city of São Bento do Sul, Santa Catarina, Planefibra is a company specialized in continuous lamination processes for the manufacture of high-performance fiber-reinforced polymer composite roofing sheets and panels.
Its products are present in industrial, commercial, and residential installations throughout Brazil and in several South American countries.
Each year, Planefibra strengthens its position as a reference in high-strength and durable products.
Our company, always attentive to the evolution of civil construction, manufactures products that excellently meet the needs for natural lighting and roofing solutions across a wide range of sectors.
Industrial waste from Planefibra, coming from the production of sheets and translucent tiles, is being transformed into an energy source. The materials are sent for co-processing, carried out by the company BIOCONSULTORIA, from São Bento do Sul – SC.
After blending (grinding and separation), the waste is sent to Cia. de Cimento Itambé, which uses it as fuel in the cement blast furnace.
Com esta iniciativa, a Planefibra abandona a prática da destinação para aterro sanitário e contribui para baixar a emissão de metano (CH4) e dióxido de carbono (CO2), que em aterros sanitários representa uma das mais importantes fontes de gases de efeito estufa.
We are certified by IAP – Paraná Environmental Institute, and the entire process is managed by Bioconsultoria Soluções Ambientais.
